Overview

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital is one of the leading specialized units providing advanced healthcare for critically ill children aged 1 month to 14 years. The department has been comprehensively developed by recruiting highly qualified medical and nursing staff with extensive expertise in managing critical pediatric conditions.

The unit has gained the trust of the Ministry of Health due to the quality of its services, receiving referrals from public hospitals for advanced care unavailable elsewhere. Its capacity has been expanded from 9 beds to 25 beds, including 3 isolation rooms to ensure maximum safety and infection control. In addition, the department has upgraded its pediatric-specific medical equipment to deliver world-class intensive care.
